I don't see anything wrong with either one of them ???
-
Me neither. The fluted one looks real to me.
-
Both of them are real nice
-
ok i'll stop whining ;D
-
Jamie, i like that wintu style point
i was gonna give one of them a try tonight myself ;D
the fluted one is nice too
i have several that look almost identical to that
most of which are gonna get reworked and become something else
-
Man, I'd say you did more than just TRY a wintu - that thangs nice!
-
Sweeeeet! Likem both! ABO?

great job jamie! Those Wintu's are a real hard point to do, especially when you start to turn the notches upward. I always get too big of a flake and it wipes out the part that makes them look upturned. Then they just look like a deep side notch!
-
Nothing at all wrong with those, nice work. On those Wintu/Ishi points, I usually get one side notched perfect, then pop the whole ear off the other side taking that "one more little flake" trying to make it look perfect.
-
thanks guys. yeah tracy it was abo. except when the shoulders of the notches rounded. i broke out copper to see if i could pry a little more off. made myself stop though because i knew i was gonna break it like hillbilly said.
-
Don't know much about it,but they look great to me,especially the first one. :)

Like Pappy said ;D.....I may just be ignorant but I'd strap either one to one my flying telephone poles, and put it clean through some poor-unsuspecting Michigan whitetail....I think they are just beautifull.
