Title: KY Blue IV-D
Post by: leapingbare on May 12, 2010, 12:33:32 am
I like this one. The horns arnt as pronounced as I'd like because i lost some off one on my 2nd primary stitch flake, also note the small divet on the base of the pummel same flake did that. I also really need to slow down on my blade work so i can get a better flake pattern. I have an idea for that.

also here is a cool little knife i made. the blade is high ridge burlington, the handle is deer leg bone wrapped with braintan, blade hafted with pinepitch and wrapped with sinew that was soaked in hide glue.

The dagger is nice. You just keep getting better and better at those things 8)

Very nice work Jesse,by the way was that you hide glue left on the stove at the shop.If so I put it in the fridge in the archery shop so it wouldn't spoil like the last did. ;) :) I like knives, all kinds of knives. ;)

That is some nice work.  I have got to learn to stitch.  Do you plan to attend any local knap ins and when and where, I'd like to learn how you do that.  Bill
