Title: Miss Copperhead strikes
Post by: Ranger B on May 22, 2010, 12:20:21 pm
Me and my 6 y.o. went to the woods this morning for squirrels. I was so excited when a nice gray squirrel crawled down a big poplar by him. He got 5 arrows off at the squirrel before it finally decided to vacate the area. He'd shoot and it would run around the tree then in a few minutes it would come back around to his side. He had a blast.
I took Miss Copperhead with me and she struck this guy sitting on a limb.

Jimmy, that is priceless!! Finished your book the other day and what a great read. That  you for the stroll down memory lane. I wasn't raised down there, but my Dad's side was from that area and I spent the summers down there. Alot of the same type of things happened to you that I can relate too. Good luck with you new job and transfer.
