I like that raw Texas rock too.  It takes a beating but produces nice points.  Obsidian is too fragile to me.

If all you Guys like that Texas Rock...then why were there no Points made from all of the Alibates I brought last year to the Classic.... >:D

You are doing that stuff justice Jamie! Is that one raw? Got rained out half a day Thurs so went and got a small load, been spalling and bi-facing in back of the truck last couple of days.

thanks guys. paul this one was heated but i dont think enough. percussion was easy but as i got deeper into it it started stepping and i had to get a bit rougher with it. rick we'll spend some time together this weekend and focus on a piece. as for getting stuff thin it has become a bit of a curse. been trying to work on fluting and a lot of the pieces dont have a good enough center ridge. gotta relearn how to not drive long flakes. thanks again
