This morning after doing my chores,I decided to sit on the back porch an have a lemonade and smoke,Two minutes later my mother in law comes up to me and says you watching the tom?I say which tom?she points a finger to the neighbours veggie patch and there is an old one LAYING ON ITS SIDE AND KICKING LIKE ITS DYING,I realize in a few seconds that the blOODY THING IS TAKING A MUD BATH to get rid of its parasites,I see turkeys in my yard everymorning and evening but had never saw one taking a mud bath till today.
Last week I stalked up to one to within 12 yards and then shooed it ,it was amusing to see its reaction.
Yup turkeys are fun, only if they tasted better, lmao

Soo I take it you don't eat pork, either? ;D I didn't know turkeys did that... Cool
-
oh ya,they do that all the time
the land i hunt there is a spot where they always go,almost daily, and take their dirt baths
dude cant believe ya dont like turkey
these arent like your store bought butter balls filled with chemicals for flavor, yuuukkk
wild ones actually taste good ;D
if they are doing most of their feeding in crop land its just like a free range bird that they charge top $ for only better

Basically all birds, and fowl will take dust baths, and water baths. ;)
Never seen a humming bird do it though. ;D Not that it means they don't, it's just I've never seen one do it.
