Title: self nock depths...
Post by: HatchA on July 15, 2010, 12:51:23 pm
Quick question for those of you that shoot cane arrows with self nocks....  how deep is "deep enough" for self noccks, specifically in tonkin shafts?  I've got mine to about 5mm buut to my eye, they look kinda shallow.

Any thoughts?

I cut mine to just a little deeper than the strings thickness at the nocking point

Wow, some varied repies ther but very much appreciated! I guess there's no set depth with sef nocks - just trial, error an personal preference.

Thanks guys.
