after expirencing a minor fiber seperation this morn ,i went to my shop and picked up a board i had thought was ipe (rough cut) it was super dense but after ripping it the grain looked similar to oak but not red. anyways it was quarter sawn so i made a bow with it this ones a little stiff in the limb tips but i have the intention of recurving it and jackin the lbs over the forty it is now ,so i left them stiff for now. stats are 1 1/4 wide 66in t to t , tapering last 15 inches

Get from mid limb out bending more on each limb.
Not sure what the wood is but I don't think it is oak...at least not a common oak.
