				Hi all Normally I like your simple self bow but always wanted to try a character bow and fancy it up with a paint job.There has been some awesome character bows on here lately and I thought I would share mine.It's a young ash 69 1/2 ntn  48# @ 26" of pull.Heat treated,deer tip overlay,leather handle and whackey tiller job but hey it shoots great and has not taken any set.Thanks all for the inspiration-and for looking.Hammertime

				It's a Yumi  ;D Crazy is the perfect word for it.  Great job with it though, I wouldn't have the patience to tackle that.

				Wow, what an interesting looking bow, and what a way to take a 'trash' piece of wood and turn it into a working beauty. I applaud you.

				Thanks everyone I know its a little crazy ,I was surprised it survied the tiller shooting in process as well.It does shoot well smooth  draw with little shock,other details i/2 @ tips 2"@fades tru oil finish.Thanks again.Hammertime-I'll try for perfect tiller on the next one ::)

				Cool bow!  Gotta love those character bows!  Got it bookmarked for Sept BOM contest as well.  It takes skill to get one that shaky to survive into a shootable and surviving bow, great work!

				At first glance I thought it was a Japanese yumi bow. Nice job on the tiller.

 That is a crazy bow.  I like it.

				Thanks Pappy Jawge and Kent ,I tried a few things different on this one,like working the wood down while it was green then putting in a reflex and letting it dry in the form.Heat treated  a reflex in which it lossed some of during practice rounds. the paint job is somewhat from the delaware native americans I know I saw on a bow somewhere,anyways thanks.Hammertime
