It was a sad day , I had to say goodbye to a special person that passed on Sunday . He was an expert flint knapper and primitive bowyer . I am so glad that our paths had crossed through a friend or I wouldn't know anything about these two primitive crafts . But my friend was an extraordinary person who love to give to others and that made him happy the most . He had contracted a rare disease while making a primitive knife , he was grinding an elk handle that they say had a fungul bacteria from out west that somehow put him into double neumonia spread through both lungs and ultimitely killed him . Unbelievable -what are the chances ? So please take the correct protective measures - you never know ! :'( R.I.P. "Griz"
