Title: new cane arrows.
Post by: LEGIONNAIRE on September 26, 2010, 12:04:52 am: Here are some cane arrows I finished yesterday, well I still need to finish 3 of em but the other ones are ready to go. My favorite one is the one with the triangular glass head. The ones with grey feathers are chicken and one goose. The white feathers are just turkey feathers. They have pretty good helical fletchings so they spin really nice once theyre fired. The heads are bottle glass n the other ones are just blunts.

Post by: LEGIONNAIRE on September 26, 2010, 11:40:14 pm: Thank you all for your kind comments! I got a chance to shoot these today and man was I IMPRESSED! they all shoot terrific. On the downside my bow developed another crack I will be patching up with rawhide.

I was thinking of squirrels jeje I always see some close by the university but they are also on churchs property so I just keep out of their for respect to the church. I wish I could go in there and take some meat, I like squirrel meat its good.

come my way,we have more squirrels than ever this year
i dont eat them so i dont shoot them
i'll take you to the woods and show you some fox squirrels that would give godzilla the fight of a lifetime

I think they look great, but even if they didn't look pleasing to the eye, if they fly straight, then they are fine, and you have done what you set out to do. They should definitely get some meat, if you do your part. Yeah, I love Squirrel meat also. 8) Great job. Now finish up those last two so you will have an even dozen. ;)
