I finally got the Bamboo backed Ipe finished. Put some Sanke Skins on her, and retillered it to take a lot of weight off. I worked on the tips and with the wise advice of Pappy they turned out pretty nice. It's the best shotting bow I've ever worked on. It's my new favorite. :)
Here's some pictures hope they come out well enough to see.
No leather on the grip because the wood is just to darn nice to cover up. :)

I really like the looks of how you rounded the edges of the back in the handle area, those layers of wood make a nice contrast with the skin. Beauty!

Yes it's a David Knight blank. From the TN Classic and his class this year. I spoke with David yesterday via phone and he's gonna do another class this next Classic. I plan to do another one then also. It was a ton of fun and I learned a lot.
Can't wait to see ya again Bear! Shooting, food, and friends, great times, and memories to last a life time.

Awesome, Jon. Excellent in all respects--tiller, tips, backing, customized sight window. Smooth, balanced. Incredible workmanship. One of the best I've seen on PA in years. Congratulations.
