Congratulations to John Thomas from Cottontown TN for Winning the October Self BOM Contest!

Bow Description by Pappy:
It is 58 n-n 47@28 Pignut Hickory with 3 thin layers of deer leg sinew on it. Cocobola tips and Diamondback skins. Nice work John, sweet shooter and beautiful finish work.  John T. said he had never made a Hickory bow that he really liked until this one.   We made him keep it dry.  There you go, it is stained just can't remember what color he said he used. I will pass the compliments along, he don't get online much.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERY PERSON WHO VOTED FOR MY HICKORY BOW THIS MONTH.  I HAD TO GET MY WIFE TO SHOW ME HOW TO TURN ON THE COMPUTER . I AM NOT MUCH OF A HIGHTECH PERSON I GUESS.ANYWAY I AM VERY HONORED AND VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR COMMENTS ON THE BOW AND YOUR VOTES .MARK BAGGETT STAYS ON ME ALL THE TIME ABOUT NOT GETTING ON THIS SIGHT SO MAYBE NOW WITH A LITTLE PRATICE I CAN DO BETTER. I KNOW A LOT OF YOU GUYS WHIN I SEE YOU AT THE CLASSIC BUT I AM BAD WITH NAMES.TRADITIONAL BOWERS ARE A DIFFRENT BREED .I HAVE YET TO MEET ONE I DIDNT THINK WAS A HORORABLE AND RESPECTFUL PERSON.
