Title: mollegabet question

when looking for your wood i have seen some guys using quarter sawed lumber. what size dimensions should i be looking for to make one of these? how thick? how wide?is quarter sawed better? thanks guys

1x2 is a good size and quarter sawn is really nice to work and makes one tough bow!!Do a search for mollegabet dimension by halfeye,he makes it really easy to read and understand!I'll try to find you a link to it!!
