Great looking bow! Can you give us some more info? I'm intersted in what the darker wood is and how does it work stopping the belly lam halfway down the limb. A full draw pic would be great as well. Thanks in adavnce.

The bows on here just keep getting better and better all the time. That is a beauty. Would like to to know more on what woods are in it also. Dean

That is a work of art...I love the leather work and the arrows. The wood combo goes together great.

Beautiful bow!
What's bbob? And how did you underlay the outer limbs??
-
I've run out of adjectives to describe the bows being submitted this month! Those woods look fantastic together. It seems that everything you make is not only functional, but a work of art as well. You have a gift! I can't wait to see what you'll create next!

Thats a wonderful bow!
-
Absolutely incredible! Very nice bow, Colors are excellent and well as the detail work in the handle and tips. Great work!
-
Wow! Did you make this bow?
-
Thanks for all the nice posts but... this ones actually a screw up. Its been sitting on the rack for a few years . I cut a kerf a bit to shallow on the belly side and while tillering exposed the bubinga . I was going to put a bamboo belly on it after that but said the heck with it and kept shaving until the entire bubinga kerf was exposed. Luckily it still held some decent poundage.
While I was posting this last night I got to thinking. These are man sized arrows 28" and this kids only going to be drawing maybe 24" so I'm whipping out some 25" 35# numba one chinese bamboo arrows.
Jeff, you got it bamboo backed osage/bubinga. Can't wait to go shoot with him. Scott

Beautiful bow as always Scott. Your finish work is exceptional and trademark. I think I could pick your bows out from a mile away!
-
Holy Moly! Unbelievable...The finish, the grip, the nocks...I think I hate you. ;D
Definitely got my vote for backed bow of the month. Wait... ??? I have a bow in that category :o ...and yet I'm voting for you :-\ ...Yeah, I definitely hate you. ;D

Once again, You show us what a true craftsman can do!

That is one more good looking bow and arrows.
-
Great Scott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D Very nice. May I ask what finish you spray? Crystal?
-
Jesse, I use minwax poly satin because it's so easy to touch up and refinish. When its dry hit it with some 0000 steel wool to cut the shine. Glad you like it. Scott
