Title: sinew backing handle
Post by: chuckp on December 20, 2010, 07:16:26 pm
Is there any reason to sinew back the grip if the handle is non-bending?
I already have jute glued on and would like to sinew up to the jute.

Depends how long the fades are.

It's a pryamid. Long fades non-bending.

I tend to run the sinew full length rigth through the handle. Just so it's a continuing run of sinew and not free ends to pull lose.  Also helps to keep the surface area more uniform for the handle wrap. Doesn't take much more sinew to cover a 6-8" handle area anyway.
