Title: Copperhead Osage

Here  is a little Osage bow I Built 58" tip to tip, 57" ntn,  4" handle, 1" fades,  1 3/8 Tapering to a little less than 3/8 at the tips. 48lbs at 26". Backed with copperhead skins.  Thanks Kerry

That is a butte Kerry. Great recurves and very nice tiller. Skins look great as well. Congratulations

I sure like that Bow....sweet! Wish we had Copperheads here...instead of these dreary ....hum-drum Buzztails ...they just get so boring.

Knap 123, This bow likes a brace height of just a tad under 6".

great job Kerry your learning fast, realy fine job. just one question, is that squirt drawing the bow my 3d buddy, he looks familiar? >:D >:D >:D.one of the most polite respectfull young man ive ever had the pleasure to be around.must have got it from his Mom. ;D Oh yeah if you need osage Kerry is the man, hands down.

That is wonderful, great design for short osage, what type of heat did you use for the tips?  they look fairly tight.  Is that the new owner of the bow or your helper?

Wow Kerry...! That sure is a good looking bow ! I especially like how ya did the tips and the way those copperhead skins look on it.

Thanks everyone. I used dry heat, The boy (Keygan) is my son, he has been helping me since he was little. He started building his own bow a couple of months ago, He has it bending nicely.

Tiller looks perfect and I really like the looks of them copperheads against the osage... can't really ask for a better combination in my opinion... Got it bookmarked for January Self BOM contest too.   :)
