I have some fresh cut hackberry staves, if there is interest in them I'll take some pics. I'll be looking for primitive shafting in the 50# range, stone points, turkey feathers, or snake skins. Staves are 80'' long some can be split in two, bark still on as I just cut today. I will seal the ends tonight and remove bark if you wish. Would like to move 6 staves, keeping 3. If there is a lot of interest I can cut more, we have alot of hack around here.

I do say...I am interested. Sent you a PM.

I'm interested for sure. Let me know how many you would need and save some shipping cost and cut them down to at least 70".

Sweet stuff, man. I love working with hackberry and have had great results with the wood. The color and the grain is so sweet to me that I have yet to lay stain on any I have made.

JW, don't stain mine either, just a little heat to bring the grain out, and hackberry makes a nice shooting bow.
