Title: a bunch of bandsaw blades
Post by: jthompson1995 on March 04, 2011, 09:51:36 am
I recently upgraded my 14" Delta bandsaw with a riser block and bigger motor (minor gloat here) and so can't use the 93-1/2" blades anymore. I had amassed a fair collection because I always waited too long to send them for re-sharpening and so bought a new blade since it was faster.

Anyway, I have 15 93'1/2" bandsaw blades for trade, these should fit standard 14" bandsaws by Delta, Jet, Grizzly, etc. The blades have been used and need a good cleaning and resharpening. If you can resharpen them yourselves or can get them resharpened easily you'll be set for blades for a while.

Sizes and brands listed below:

Olson

6 - 1/2"-3tpi
1 - 1/2"-4tpi
1 - 5/8"-3tpi

Timberwolf

1 - 1/2"-4tpi
1 - 1/2"-3tpi
1 - 3/8"-6tpi
1 - 3/4"-3tpi

Other (maybe Olson but I'm not sure)

1 - 3/8"-6tpi
1 - 3/8"-8tpi
1 - 3/16"-10tpi

I am interested mainly in bamboo backing strips, maybe hickory, but am open to other trades.

I have a 14" jet bandsaw, but I don't have any bamboo backing, sorry.  I friend is looking at getting some hickory so I may come into some of that which could be ripped into backing strips.  What I do have loads of is crooked osage.  Good luck.
