Just finished a new bow. This one pulls a little light for me but I love the finish! I have two laminations of Hard Maple and one Lamination of IPE. Pulls about 43#@28"...sweet shooting bow with lots of limb movement.

amazing, and if its to light for you, i might be able to take it off your hands for you, then you can retry O:)

Beautiful bow, Aaron. Nice wood combo and very nice boo backing. What is the belly wood? Ipe?
-
Beautiful. Looks better than anything you'd buy in a store, that's for sure!
-
Very nice! :o

Hi Aaron!
Great bow, wow!!! :)
Just one question: how long is the handle?
Regards Peter ;)
-
Thanks for the compliments. I'll try to answer some of the questions...
My risers (front half) are cut at 16 inches as a general rule. Sometimes I make them a little longer and sometimes they become a little shorter...but not on purpose! There is no magic length that I have found....
The belly on these are bamboo which has been tempered to the extreme! These are challenging to make because of the nodes and bamboo's natural movement up and down...The black color if from the charcoaled surface of the bamboo...
Robustus gave me a few tips on the dye job...he's so far out front...
-
Wow that is some eye candy :o. love it
-
wow, that belly bamboo is charred! how do you feel about its abilities as a belly lamination? especially prepared that way. take lots of abuse?
-
Beautifull bow, but, I think the bamboo makes it three Lams. ;)
-
WOW! That's just as purdy as can be.
Darcy :)

Oh my......... That's a really nice on you got there.

Friend of mine here in Ireland has a bow by James Parker (Robustus) which is boo backed and boo bellied (right now I'm unsure of the total make-up of it). It's incredibly light in physical weight, very smooth to draw and though I've not shot an arrow from it yet, my friend Jim says it shoots very nicely! I'm heading over to him in a couple of hours so I'll twist his arm into letting me shoot off a few from it ;)
-
Beautiful bow. I think that one is a keeper for sure. Danny

Looks fast and beautiful!!!
-
Can't go wrong with one of. James parker's bows...very talented bowyer.
Have shot these bamboo belied bows thousands of times without issue...in my opinion you are much more likely to pull splinter on backing than Having issue with belly.
Thanks again for all the positive feedback.

wow is right! thats incredible!
