Hillbilly 61 sent me a glued up piece of boo on some Ipe....here's what I made out of it. 56" ttt, 52# @ 27". 3/4" wide tapering to 5/16 tips....draws smooth and shoots real quick. Dont mind the snow, just another 6" we're gettin today. Oh ya, the name just seemed right cause it's small, skinny, and way deadly.....thanks Mark seems like yer wood dont mind the cold too much.
Hope ya like, thanks for lookin. PS: dont know for sure about a grip wrap yet.....none, rattan, leather? aint decided. Oh ya, the bow's mass weight is 10-1/2 ounces.

Why did you have to post these pictures? After my last Ipe bow I swore that I would not make another one for a long time since I only have hand tools. Now after seeing your work of art I am being tempted to buy some Ipe and start another one!

I can easily hear the sound of the arrow launching from that piece of work - "thwip" - and then "thunk" goes the arrow into the target. The sweet sound of success. Rich, is there a style of bow you haven't tried?
