I have a few more chunks left that I'm planning on bringing to the Classic. I'll make sure one has your name on it if you are coming ;)

Thanks Jeff! Don't know if i'll be able to make it this year (work). But there's still those flat rate boxes, hmm ::)..
-
I used coper on it and it worked well.
Jamie did you see that 6 inch tallahatta cumberland i made the other week?
I'll like a chunk ;D ;D
-
jesse apparently you didnt see my comment on it about you "walking on water" ;D
gonna hit it with a stone later and see what i get
-
Jamie, I've been using copper also, works good.
Jesse, I have a new box of Primo Tallahatta. I'll be at Pappy's the1st of April.
-
Eddie i hope you do as well in the woods this year as last year!
I might come hang out if I'm not at a knap-in or getting rock some were.
I have been considering going back to AR the 1st weekend in April to get more novaculite.
Jamie i forgot i posted it here. How is the abo jig project going?
-
Jesse, I'll be there longer this time. Pappy told me to stick around for awhile after the weekend, I'm on vacation then.
-
I have used wood, copper, antler percussers, and bone and copper pressure flakers. Use what you like best. Tallahatta has a habit of really wearing out tools really quickly. Bill
-
thanks bill, gonna hit it today
-
Well? What happened? Bill
-
had a nice dalton going and i snapped it. first point ive snapped in a long time.
-
That is really easy to do with Tallahatta, there are all sorts of inclusions all through it. I find some points made from Tallahatta that are thin but most are 4-1, 5-1 or so with lots of hinges or steps. Are you going to come to the Tenn. Classic? Bill
-
not this year. wish i could
-
Jamie, I've worked a little bit of it. I like wood for early bifacing on big pieces, and antler for secondary thinning.
