Finished this knife up yesterdayThe blade was made out of a old sawmill sawblade and handle was made out of tiger maple and brass pins.The knife is 12 inches overall,the blade is 7 and half inches and handle is 4 and half inches.

Thanks Jonathan,Jon,Lonewolf,David,Pappy and Greg.Lonewolf the sawblade came out of a lumber yard in n.c.It is pretty good steel,getting ready to make another one out of it.

That's a nice knife!! What's the thickness of the sawblade you used?
I like that knife a LOT!! Lots of posts of small knives and neck-knives, which are fine but I like my knives to have a bit of meat on them :)

very nice knife Swamp. Is the patina on the blade natural or did you put it there? It looks natural. :) I really like it.

Thanks Hatch and Josh.Hatch the thickness on the blade is 3 sixteenths and I am like you I like a knife I can work with.Josh the patina on the knife came from heat treating the knife,I like the way the patina turned out on this one.
