I have noticed that many bowyers have a signature bow tip style that they use. I am thinking of doing the same and I am looking for ideas. Please post pictures of your favorite tips!

I really like this kind of tip.

Here's one i did a way's back that i though looked pretty cool.

i like this style alot.

I keep pretty consistently to two styles. One is kind of bullet shaped for when I use an overlay and the other is just a half rounded point for when there is no overlay. I've also done some where the overlay goes past the bow wood but I've found that it can easily be chipped off in that style. Not really signature just what I like.

I like a minimalist overlay on my flatbows.

I'm still evolving my preferred style of horn nock for ELBs, some of my earlier ones look a tad weird.
This is one of my fave's with 2 Silver rivets set through it on a Lady's bow.

I like 4ests brush nocks and Pat B's nocks on his eastern woodland bow i think they are called side nocks?
-
the thing that blows my mind is that paul makes bows...WOW...he has got to do more..

I've grown to like my double nock wood overlays. My favorite of the bunch is on this bow (sorry, no close ups of the tips):

Here's another similar one but the shape and polish isn't quite as good as the black tips in the above photo:

I like tie on nocks for longer bows...simpler thank tip overlays for me for the narrow tips. Anything 48" or under I just use pin nocks.

back nocks for me

Heres a couple from my latest projects... :) :) :)
-
Will thats pretty cool! I am guessing the one that sticks out more is already strung or in other words the bottom limb tip? Are these pics of the same bow? looks cool
-
Yeah Elktracker, the super pointy one is the bottom limb. The last pic is from another bow...the others are from my latest bow I'm finishing up right now. Backed it with a couple moccasin skins...the gnarly tips seemed to fit the bill. :)
-
Yeah they look really cool! thanks
