Great! I hate being at work where they block the pictures. I'll check back again tonight to see. I love hog hunting.

Very nice video, thank you for sharing. I say that at least as far as hunting is concerned, you guys that live where there are wild hogs are lucky ;) Good for you.
-
Thats awsome John!!!! Nice shootin how many yards was that? First shot that hog was down very cool video I need to get one of those cams for Elk season here in Oregon. What brand head cam is that? Anyway very nice shootin! also what kind of goats or sheep were those? Are they wild? was this on public land?

Thanks Guys !
This was on a 120 acre game farm. Josh tha camera is made by Midland, it's called an Extreme action camera, the head mount didn't come with it, i fashioned the camera onto a headlamp mount.

Thanks John look forward to a turkey kill ;D Good job!
-
that was great better than the pro-shows on the outdoor Chanel congrats on the hog and excellent video.
-
Thanks Thomas, i've been having some fun with this little camera !
-
Dunno what I am more jealous about...hunting the hogs or having a camera to video the hunt!!! Thanks for posting. Wow, he bled like a stuck...well, you know!
-
;D
-
John, toss a bow and a gun in the car and head on down here. I have a video camera to video you with. No sense getting jealous over the deal. ;) ;) ;)
Nice hunt John, I really liked the video. You did well. Now that I've seen how well that little camera worked, I think I'll work to set up something like that.
I believe those were Corsican sheep. I shot a Corsican ewe on a ranch hunt similar to this one when I first moved to Texas and didn't have a deer lease with hogs. They are quite common on game ranches in Texas.

Thanks George, Now that you said Corsican sheep that sounds familiar. :)
-
Thanks Scott ! Heading to the processer now to pick up my Brats ;D
-

Thanks Hawk and Pappy ! :)

Enjoyed the video. A target rich environment. Wit the number of arrows you shot I thought maybe you were trying to make a porky-pine. Just kidding. I know how difficult they can be to bring down sometimes.
-
Thanks Polar Bear, I think the first arrow would of done the job, but i like to try and put the animal out of it's misery as soon as possible. The second arrow, just glanced of it's head cutting the ear, the third was a pass through :)
There was another guy in the group shooting one of those things with wheels :o He had 4 arrows sticking out of his looked like a porky pin cushion :D
-
I went back to see the arrow that earmarked the hog....I think I can kinda make it out.
I agree with you about wanting to help finish things quickly. I hate losing game, even though he woulda left that even I coulda followed!

Yeah it's tuff to tell from the video.....but not bad for 100$ and being worn on your head :)
-
great shots man. i like how you shoot: aim, draw, release.
-
Thanks billy , some might call it snap shooting, but it seems to work for me :)
-
cool video ive got to get one of those cams
-
Really enjoyed that video. Great job! So, how far were the shots?
-
Parnell, the shots where about 15 yards. The camera makes it look further ! still plenty far for my shooting :)
-
good shooting! a hog rarely goes down like that.
-
That was cool John. Like that footage. Makes me want to get into the woods..
-
Thanks Guys :)
-
awwww wont let me watch the video :( and that's allot of bacon >:D
-
you only grind them? I used to order Boar/Hog at resturants in NYC and it was great. Chops, Ragu w/ pasta. Ribs. I would like to put an arrow into a hog like that.
