Well I have been waiting to get some leather on this guy, but I just keep putting it off, so I guess I'm gonna just post what I got so far. Red oak from lowes/home depot with linen fabric backing. Although you can't see it in the pictures it there are thickness fades from the bulky handle, about 1 1/2" long. Pyramid taper limbs from 2 1/2" at fades to 1/2" at siyah base. 54" from siyah base to siyah base. Siyahs are around 5 1/2" to 6" with wooden string bridges, painted with regular acrylic paint and gloss polyurethane over that. 60# at 28" with a cord waxed cotton cord handle and a hair on hide arrow pass. This kind of bow, or probably something with the angle of siyah I use, makes it frustratingly easy to have the siyahs twist during draw if not in PERFECT alignment, and I ALWAYS have to adjust and bend the siyahs in a jig thing to get em to not twist. Last time I tried to make a bow like this was for halfeye and it ended up twisting during stringing and broke from the side.

how long is the glue joint on that siyah? on the last one i built months ago, at the very end of the limb, i rasped off some wood to remove weight from the end of the limb. since thats where the biggest part of the siyah is, i figured it didnt matter. then i wrapped it. to me it looked a bit better too. also, did you make the siyah triangular in shape?

I've been wanting to do something like that for a while. I really like that design, style, look etc. The video is great. You did a great job on that bow. Excellent work!
