Here you go ;D They Texed us on the way home and after they pulled the 94 jugs from last night, ended up with a 125# of fillets.
-
Had a great time, I'll get some more pics up tomorrow when I get time to download them, been putting up catfish since I got home. :) That one was a beast, took the three of us over 30 minutes to get it subdued and in the boat. We got several other good ones 10-15 lbs and a slew of 2-6 lb eaters. Caught another good mess this morning, wound up with over 200 lbs. of fish this weekend. Thanks to Chris for having us down!!! Always a great time at the Cade place. Chris has got me hooked on this catfish juggin' the last couple years, that boy for sure knows how to catch some catfish, hell, he's even taught my stupid butt how to catch a fish or two.
PS-Eddie, we liked our present you left us on the porch :D
-
That's one hell of a fish guys, and look at them others Wow! I'm smelling that fiish fry from here ;D.
-
That's a productive weekend. Looks like you old guys wore Cody out! :D Are we eating catfish at Hickory again this year? ;)
-
Thats cool!!! Could you save me that big head? I want it.. You ever back a bow with catfish skin?
-
What a great time...big cats, good whiskey and Osage staves on the porch...It's funny the only one with red eyes is that datchound.
-
Here's a few more from that weekend.
-
Nice tatoo Chris! I'm bare at 45 but thinkin about it, hmm...
-
Perty tat what does it signify
-
That will make a couple sammiches! ;D

had a blast as usual! wish i had a pic of steve's face when he was lifting the 45# out of the water. :o didn't think him or the net would take the strain. i knew it was a big one when it man handled the jug and slowly pulled it underwater. you don't see that often but once you do, you never forget the sight. can't wait for the gang to come back down. we'll hunt for a 75# next time. the tat is a version of the 1860 south carolina state flag that flew over the state house and charleston just before we shelled fort sumter. south carolina means a lot to me and i just wanted to show it.
-
And you can take you a sip of that Single Malt tomorrow in honor of those warriors of past. April 12, 1861, the first ball was flying.
-
Wow nice catfish guys, I never tried juggin... might just have to give it a try soon. I go fishing about every weekend right now, been catching the crap out of some crappie. :)
-
Chris, my face hoisting that fish into the boat probably looked about like yours did when he was doing the outline on that flag. ;D I think the net handle woulda bent 90* if Cody hadn't grabbed the net frame.
-
Man you guys are killing me! I never caught one that big in my life and looks like I may never. Great job! Steve
-
Here is Sunday morning's catch-no giants but one pushing 15 lbs and several at least 10-lbers. 110 lbs total for the morning.
-
Man! Ya'll did good. I think I'll have to pay that $11 for a license when I come back up.
-
Unfortunately, the jug permit is $50.
-
Man it looks like I missed a really good time.
Glad y'all had so much fun and cutting up.
Nice fishin' looks like good eatin'. And all sorts of other good fun.

Wish you coulda made it down, Wade.
-
Chris told me the three day was $11.
-
Eddie, that's the fishing license that's $11. It covers bowfishing, though. If you jug, you have to have a separate jug permit in SC. It's like $5 for residents, and $50 for nonresidents. Here in NC, you can run 70 jugs on your fishing license.
-
Okee Doke, still sounds like a bargain. :)
-
You could become a proffessional catfish outfitter! I spent a lot of summer nights on the Pearl river in Mississippi and never had a night like you guys did. I did have some nights with big mixed bags of buffalo, catfish and a few others I can't remember. That jug fishing seems like the only way to go. Steve
