I ran across some M-A3 125grain Broad heads and was wondering if anyone had ever used them on deer and if so, what kind of results did you find.
Basically for the price I couldn't pass them up.
Also I am shooting a 50 lbs bow at 28'' draw with a 50/55 spine 11/32'' shaft

Keep em sharp and put them in the boiler room, they should work fine.

Never hunted with them personally. My personal preference is a 2-blade......but my friends killed a lot of deer with them. I would recommend that ya maybe think about one of the True-Angle blocks with two mill files attached....thats the only way I know to get them really scary sharp.

looks like with a sharp edge, those would cause sever trauma to whatever vital organ you put it through.

I use them for rabbits. I'm like half eye, prefer two blades.

I've killed a few deer with these, they work fine. The three blade makes a triangular cut, which is supposed to make a hole thats harder for the body to close. I shoot single bevel two blades now though.
