Title: Finished birch

Posted this bow a few days ago. Done now, 59" ntn 50 lbs @ 26". Cherry stain, burlap wrapped handle. Enjoy..

Nice tiller, sweet simple bow....
I'm a bit ambivalent about staining wood, but then if you are hunting, you don't want 'em white, sort of toying with the idea of decorating a Hazel bow I'm just finishing....hmmmm dunno.

nice bow well done, never made a bow from birch but heard it wasnt the easiest of woods so you made a good job looks like very little set and a good tliler

hey thanks guys.. yeah this bow has about 3/4 " of reflex after unstringing. the pic of this bow unstrung next to the tree has the belly facing to the right.

Sweet and simple, I agree with Del. gotta love the bend in a D-tillered bow.
