Howdy all,
Got a question about wax and glue, since I haven't had any experience in that area. If one had beeswax or really any type of wax on string or thread, would it change the way glue would work on the string? I'm thinking about all glues, from hide to Titebond.
Thanks!

Wax will usually prevent glues from sticking or at lease well.

What would the application be for? Backing a bow?

I've learned that you can use fingernail polish remover to cut the wax on artificial sinew. I clean the last 3" (aprox) so the glue addhears good.

I have used artificial sinew for various projects. I coated it with TBIII at least a few times and so far so good. I usually wrap the front of my feathers with 10# sinew to make it a smooth run over my knuckle..........wow that feels better!
