I wrote a post last week on SOLF SHOOTS. MR HALVERSON turned me on to MINI WAX harder. I could'nt find any anywhere but I did find ELMERS WOOD HARDER looks just like ELMERS GLUE. I could defferently tell the difference in just one coat. I'll add a second coat tomorrow after it's dried over night. Not to traditional but HAZZEL is the straightest shoots I've ever used by far. SOLF PUT STRAIGHT.
THANKS MR HALVERSON

I don't mind saying I am more than a little uncomfortable being praised by another man for helping him stiffen his shafts. Er, umm, you're welcome. :-\

;D ;D ;D come on now, guys. keep it clean.

Does it change the look of the shaft any? Darker or lighter finish? Glossy?

I have to ask and I do remember that other thread. What is a solf shoot? Jawge
-
solf = soft
not makin' fun, simply answering George's ?

Thanks, sonny. Soft it is indeed. I thought it may be that but was wondering if it was a type of shoot I never heard of. Jawge

Mainehunt I added it to broken shafts like I said it's really solf I have plenty. Its clear adds a little shine nothing alittle steel wool won't fix. Looks just like white wood glueI did'nt do any stain shafts yet. But the harder will have to be last thing you add.
Jawge it's just a really solf wood at least to been. It's HAZZEL of some sort a shurb. I never found any large enough for a bow like DEL THE CAT gets. But after checking out his web site it's defferntly HAZZEL. WHAT HE HAS IN HIS SITE SHOWS IS BIGGER BUT THE SHOOTS OFF THE MAIN TRUNK ARE JUST LIKE THE ONES I HAVE. There the straightest shoots I've ever seen and really easy to been.
