Title: yella wood

finished a stave i got in trade today its yella wood with walnut underlays and coach whip snake skin. 55 inches tip to tip and 1 1/4 wide at fades straight taper and slightly flipped tips . 46 lbs at 28 inches. hope ya like

Very nice!  I like the underlays and skins well done.  great looking tiller as well.

That is a good looking bow! Tiller looks awesome and the pattern of those skins really jumps out at you with the yellow wood  ;D

Another flippy tippy with excellent tiller!  I get a kick outa your bows, now more than ever since I own one of 'em!  Nice work.

very nice bow and great tiller Ken.  Haven't seen you working with Osage much.   Sometimes i think u use magic fairy dust to sprinkle on all your bows to keep set under an 1".  Thanks for the pics

Looks like perfection to me Ken - the kind of bow a guy could shoot targets with all day, or take into the bush to harvest some meat.  I love that tiller!

Very nice unbraced, braced and tiller profile. The skin looks unique. Don't think I've heard of a coachwhip snake before, looks really nice.

thank you everyone for the nice comments . this is a great shooting bow and im pleased with it. nice to get started back building again . thanks to Rich for the stave and criverville for the skins.

A buddy of mine had a coachwhip as a pet once,fast nasty tempered critter!

Ken, do u know which of your bows you plan on hunting with?  Do u shoot any style or length of bow better than the rest?

thanks everyone , wv i have several that i plan to use this year , but i tend to shoot the mid 50s NA style best , did manage to hit a squirel with this one today
