I finally finished my sons bow that he broke in at Mojam. Its copperhead skinned osage with zebrawood overlays. 48 ntn and about 18@18. The thread the other day about kids bows and imperfect tiller made me want to post this. Sometimes good enough is good enough. Vincent sure doesn't mind.

Man that turned out cool! I bet he's the only kid in the neighborhood with a bow like that? ;)
Still sweatin? :P

He is the only kid with copperheads for sure, but not the only one with an osage selfbow.  I am definitly still sweatin here.  This week was murder on me. I bet I lost twenty lbs from sweat!  It was nice to talk with you again Tim.  Cant wait to see you're next bow. I should have my snakehide bow finished soon.

Very cool kids bow.  I love the copperhead skins.  Maybe I can get my daughters bow finished while she is at church camp this week.

That is too cool DVS, very nice work on the skins and he doesn't look like he cares about anything but flingin arrows. :)

Those are some of the nicest colors I've ever seen backing a bow.  And it goes so good with the osage too.  Love it!
He's gotta be the coolest kid in the neighborhood with that sucker!
