Title: Beaver tail grip
Post by: TRACY on June 26, 2007, 07:18:24 pm
Looking for some input on prepping scraped and dried tails for use on handles. I've seen them soft and almost rubbery to stiff and natural. I was thinking of using sno-seal or some other leather softner/protector. Any ideas would be welcomed and appreciated, Thanks Tracy

I've used mink oil with good results.Isn't sno-seal mostly paraffin?

Sno-seal is great for boots, but it's too sticky for bow grips.
