Overstreet lol your right. I was trying to thin the base and thought it would be fun to experiment. This is the first narrow entry notch point.

Every time I start to experiment I get to start a new point. 8)
That burlington sure is pretty, I like the point. I may have to scrounge up something to trade you for some of that stuff.

Thanks gus, I have been working with the leather pad a lot lately and notching. I have also been working on finishing the edge. Here is a better picture of the notches.

Hey Timo thanks, I tried that navil thing today it works very well. I used little flint flakes to stop the flake. It is a good idea but it really increases the time it take to make a point. That trade off could pay off because every point I have made has overshot at least once one me.
