This is a great post for around the campfire because me and a couple friends did just that last night with the woodfired kiln.  What is cool is that this kiln reached 2200 degrees in 4.5hour and was done firing at 9pm at 7am I was pulling work out of the kiln.  This is a fast fast high fire.  Here is one of the pieces that came out of the kiln.

I don't have any neighbors around.  Nearest one is 1/4 mile down the road to the west and to the east no one for about a mile , south 1.5,  north 1.5.   I love where I live, never a neighbor issue.  I cant see any neighbors from my yard and rarely hear them unless they are hunting.

Well with a flame like that don't surprised if one of these does a fly-by and drops a little moisture  >:D
