Our early doe season opened this week and I was successful with my Osage selfbow. This is the bow I just finished last week. At 60# it is a workhorse of a bow. It shoots a heavy arrow with authority and is so quiet that the buck that was traveling with this doe never even realized what had happened. I used a Zwickey, No Mercy, 2 blade broadhead on a cedar shaft. Had complete penetration. Even though there was frost here this morning, the leaves are still on and the bush is thick. Good thing she left an easy trail and didn't go very far.
Thanks for looking. Good luck hunting this fall.

LOL, Dazv! The head's not off. She just bent her neck like that when she died. Maybe I should have repositioned her?
