Title: Sealing shafts...

I realize that this isn't exactly primitive, but has anyone used the waterproofing spray that is usually used for workboots to seal an arrow?

I'm not sure but I think it works on leather by feeling up the pours. It seams it would wear off ( in the target) you'd have to keep adding  as you use the arrow like your suppose to redo boots.

It would probably repel water but not slow down the moisture absorbsion rate like a good sealer would.

Appreciate it. I just had some laying around that I dont use, so the thought crossed my mind.

I'm always looking for multiple uses of things. ;)
