That's a beauty for sure. excellent job on the tips and detail work. really like the knot in the upper limb.

WOW,WOW...that bow is making me miss oregon really bad.....i love the tiller and the finish work is out of this world...it looks like a high quality yew...in the handle pic the growth rings look tight....do you know how many rings an inch...GREAT WORK BRO...john

i have herd that german yew is top of the list in yew even better than english....it really shows in the limbs...they are pritty thin...john

the rings are very very thin. the sapwoodrings are 0.01181 inch
yes, german yew is excellent. but only the yew trees in the bavarian mountains

finish: 2 layers linseed oil (1 day drying) and 2 layers tung oil varnish, cooked with linseed oil (1 week drying)

Sweet looker! Kind of an American flatbow style :)

BEAUTIFUL!  I love the smooth glassy finish, the character, the profile, the natural wood look.  Very very nice!
