Here's a newnan I knapped out of some Ga.Flint River .A little more heat would have helped,I bought the rock so I don't know how he treated it.The crud in the stem was a pain in the but,I might just grind it down if I haft it

The larger one I made at the Silver River Knapp-in.It's bigger and alittle thicker but will make a nice knife.

Thanks yall,Eddie the Silver River Knapp-in was 2 weeks after the Dade City one.It was the first of I hope many. It's at the Silver River State Park outside of Ocala, has one off the best artifact museams I've see down here and alot of old pioneer buildings and such. They're having a Ocali pioneer days fest in a couple weeks that has alot of interesting craftsmen and vendors show up,Pioneers ,cowboys ,cilvil war folks with a B.A. cannon.pressing and cooking sugar cane etc....................Claude is usally there doing whatever .
