Title: Pistol Packing Daughter
Post by: Mechslasher on November 26, 2011, 09:55:25 pm
took my daughter to the farm yesterday for some target practice.  she usually shoots my ruger mkII pistol, but this time she wanted to try one of my other pistols.  i decided to let her take my nickel plated .32 llama built on a 1911 frame with mother of pearl grips.  she was shooting from about 15'.  i told her to take a few shoots center mass and the last couple in the head.  if you look close, you see two holes in the fellows check.  she'll be wanting my custom 1911 .45 before too much longer.

Something very liberating and empowering for a girl to be able to handle a handgun.  The more self confidence a girl grows up with the less likely she is to be involved in bad situations.  Way to tiller a good arc with this kid!

Thats AWESOME!!  Its great that you are educating your daughter about firearms!!  When my daughter gets old enough to handle one, you can bet that she will be at the range with me.

Uh Oh, I'll have to hide my pistols when I come up. I'll bet Savannah will like my 380.

Good shooting it's great for a kid to be living where they can learn to shoot. I have friends that live in cities where they can only shoot at licensed shooting ranges.Ron

my buddy got shot in the leg with one of those.  ;D

LOVE to see kids being taught the responsible, correct handling and use of firearms. ;D
