I hate waiting! I have 3 pecan logs, 2 ash staves, 1 very nice myrtle, 100 boo pieces, and an osage stave,
BUT EVERYTHING IS TOO GREEN TO DO ANYTHING WITH!!!(except the osage but I'm not confident enough for that yet) Even the boo isn't ready and I was really planning on makng a set of arrows today.
3 bags of feathers, 1 bag of sinew, all the points I can use...
So many Ideas I cant sit still and am driving my wife nuts...
So now instead of "doing stuff' in my garage I get to spend the day putting up christmas decorations, yay.
Did I mention I hate waiting!

im with you there ;D, you get used to it though

Sounds like you better keep the wifey happy now, cause when all that stuff is ready to use, she may not see you for awhile. ;)

The older you get the more patience you have..... ;D
ie.....the older I get the better turkey hunter I have become.....I just sit and wait for them.
Good luck!!!!

Go buy some red oak at the hardware store. ;D

I thought it was the start of a new Christmas Song? ::)

You know you could split, skin and seal one of them pecan logs.
And once you get to that point you can take a stave or two and rough out a bow or two.
Just leave the rough outs a little wide and a little thick, an 1/8" or so in width and thickness.
Then reseal the back and sides.
Have you built your Hot Box yet? :)
I'm just sayin' >:D

start makin' wood bows and primitive arrows and you'll either learn to be patient or you'll quit altogether.
Of course I don't think any of us that frequent this site would be considered quitters!
