I as most that own the TBB series really enjoy them and find them a very usefull tool to have on hand.
What do you think the chances are of seeing a volume five ?
Also what would you like to see in volume 5 if it came out?
I would like to see John Strunk back in 5 if it ever came out with a chapter on Vine Maple Or Ocean Spray or some of the less used and under acknowledged woods that I have seen him make Great bows from. I wouldnt mind seeing detailed instructions on how to make allot of the tools we use for arrows or bows like feather burners, spine testers, bow forms of all different types and stuff of that nature, but I mean like build allongs. I know you can find some of this stuff on line but im just thinking of some stuff off the top of my head. I also stay pretty busy with the 4 TBB's I have but just really like them and want another volume or two ;D

Great ideas Josh. I would like to see crepe myrtle bows and a chapter on Israeli/Jewish bows from 2000 BC to 1000 AD.

Have the four volume set from 3 Rivers, hard backs.
On my third read through now and picking up more understandable info after some time behind the drawknife and scraper.
Would love to see a 5th volume in the set.
I like the ideas posted so far.
Tools of the Trade.
Vine Maple
Ocean Spray
Crepe Myrtle
Bows of the Israelites would be cool... seems like I remember their Slingers more than their Archers... :)
Maybe an update or new chapter from Mr. Gary Davis?
What ever he wants to share.

Volume 5 could correct some misconceptions found in volumes 1-4? Dont get me wrong, I LOVE my TBB's dearly. Some info is either outdated, proven wrong or it simply wasnt developed as far as it is now. Volume 5 would be sweet for sure.

I agree a chapter on things that have changed or evolved since 1 through 4 would be great! I know they keep evolving or we find new ways of doing things all the time but I like that idea! Thanks for the replys guys

Haha I thought you were gonna say a chapter on how to tiller a 4by4 into a 150 to 200lb bow ;D Just kidding ;D ;) That would be cool If all of the best bowyers had countless hours of instructional footage on DVD of there methods of everything selfbows :)

4x4, that's child's play, try a 12x12 >:D
but it would actually be interesting to have a chapter on heavy bows, with a warning at the beginning( only for the strong, stubborn, or insane) ::)
