what's the best way to remove turkey feathers from dried wings? They are well and truely stuck. do i just pull harder?
-
I use a side cutter/wire cutter and pop 'em as close to the wing as possible. Once I ran a bunch of 'em thru a bandsaw but the cleanup was a real mess!
-
Side cutters are what I use as well. Josh
-
Hand held tree snippers are what I use.

side cutter, wire dikes, wire cutters all same thing in case you dont know what we r talkn about aaron. can also use tin snips
-
Some time side cutters but most of the time my band saw,Mine our out side so no real clean up problem. ;) :) :) I sometimes do 20/30 pair at a time and side cutters just take to long,If I am just doing a few they work fine. :)

ok, great, thanks, guys

Side cutters and a friend to spread the wing out while I snip them.
-
I spread the wing out, grab the primaries in one hand, and then snip em' all off at the base with the other where they enter the wing using wire cutters or hand held twig cutters
-
Scissors!

A sharp pair of scissors will work.
