Title: osage staves

greetings to all,

i am curious as to how many staves were finally obtained from that huge osage orange  tree that was cut by a member of this community.  there were initially three big logs that were cut with the possibility of more logs being cut further up the tree.  someone out there knows what i am talking about.  there was a pool created to see who could guess the final number of staves produced.

I'm still working on it.  Life got in the way for a while but now things are better so I am back at it.  I haven't forgot about the contest, I'm just not done with it.  I'm closing in on 70 staves and still going strong.
