This is my second favorite use for black cod now, behind the sake/miso plate. The bow is a snaked Utah juniper stave I have had sitting around for a while. 55" long 59# at 25.5". 6+" stiff handle due to a knot above it. Backed with 2 layers of elk sinew. Deer rawhide grip and tips. Water buffalo horn nocks, This is the first time I have used black cod skin for a backing. It is quite thin and does nothing more than decorate and waterproof the sinew. That is moccasin snake skin above the grip and a second layer of fish skin darkens the back above that. The bow has no set and shoots fast and sweet. Thanks for looking

Beautifull bow, Chuck. Is that really 25"? :-\
-
Very nice :) that thing sure bends :D

Mullet, I don't know what is going on with that full draw pic. I shoot from the corner of my mouth and that's 26". That pic is past that yet that arrow is only 26" long. I think my arm shortened in that shot

SWEET!!!! What else is there to say?
-
That there is one nice looking bow.

Chuck, It looks great to me. I just thought the draw length was longer than the 25.5" you posted in the description.

Very nice!

Uh oh Keenan, did you see the arc on this juniper shorty?
