Title: Ash Bow

 I just finished this bow..Ash 671/4 tip to tip 66 1/4 nock to nock,1 3/4 at fades even taper to 1 1/2 11ins from tips, last 11ins somewhat eiffel towered to 3/8ins at nocks. Nocks are purpleheart back nocks.Stave was from 3in sapling,so back is highly crowned,belly is flat.Started with just at 1in natural reflex. Just un strung is now just over 1in set.Is 40lb @ 28in. It took most of this set at only 24in so i made the handle almost round,slightly flat back and belly.Then i reduced the handle till it bent enough to get to 26in.Then i finishe it to 28in normal fasion.Built the handle back up to a comfortable grip size by gluing on strips of leather in layers, then shaping to fit.

Nice!! Took little to no set too,My Ash bow took like 3".. ::)

Very nice looking bow.

I got chills looking at the picture with snow in the background drawing the bow in a tee shirt. Berrrrr!

Great job! I have some ash cut down out of a friends yard drying out. Never built a bow of ash. this bow makes me want to get started ;D
