Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows iof you can add turkey quills ( the butt end that you cut off when making fletchings) to the rawhide when making glue? seems to me it should have some value?

No, that's not going to work. It's all about proteins. Rawhide and sinew consist of a "glue like" protein named collagen, while the feathers (and quills) consist of a totally different protein that is not glue-like (namely keratin). These proteins cannot be transformed into another. As a matter of fact, boiling does not even change the keratin at all, nor does it dissolve in water.
