I see allot of opinions on using hide glue for rawhide. Tell me what you prefer and why. I like TBIII because its easy, quick and clean. And considering rawhide doesnt "work" I dont feel hide glue has any advantage. Tell me what you think and why.

I am still a novice at this, but the "bow in the works" I plan on posting soon, I had used TBIII for the rawhide because of it being waterproof.

Drums: You know that I'm a hide glue nut however,
If you're gluing over sinew, I personally would use hide glue.
If you're gluing over bow wood, TBII or III works well for me.
So, there you go.

I've found that hide glue and rawhide is a tough job for me. Hide glue is more slippery and I have a hard time getting the rawhide to stay where I want it compared to working with TBII. I would prefer to use hide glue, but this is what is working for me right now.
