Which would be more torturous in your opinion. >:D
A ) Watching your bow progress as its built?
B ) Knowing your getting a bow built and waiting for the tube on your porch?
-
LOL, since I got "no dog in this fight" I'd say watching it being built. After a certain time each day I could always shrug off a delivery for another day but having to watch it rasp stroke by rasp stroke, scrap curl by curl...this would be my definition of "torture."
If it makes you feel any better the pain will be done either way by mid July >:D >:D >:D LOL

Well I got something else cooking besides the swapper, she is curing for 4 weeks Lee. Thanks for replying man.
-
what are you up to now ???
-
Ahhh, SINEW...LOVE the performance...HATE the wait 8) So when should I expect the tube at my door? LOL
-
The second Tuesday of next week buddy!
-
Sinew ,,,,,,,,,,Growing patience in bowyers all over the world :o >:D I feel your pain, I am contemplating sinew on one of the trade bows right now as well. Watching is fun and exciting and sows the effort to reach the goal, but take away from the surprise. I can take it either way because I like surprises as well.

LOL, almost had me blowing liquid outta my nose with that one my friend!!! :o
-
Option B would be worse. I would enjoy seeing a build-a-long of a bow for me. I could see all the hard work that went into it that way.
-
i like surprises ;)
-
Torture for me is option C) watching amazing bows being built, knowing they are going to someone else's doorstep, because you just got into traditional archery and bow building and found these websites too late to join in the fun... And knowing that even though you'll be harvesting HHB and hickory for future staves, you're still years away from making one yourself.
:-\ :'( :'(

i like surprises ;)
I bet you do after what you just got in the mail... ::)
-
Yah, option C would stink it up. That just means you have a few years to study this encyclopedia of bow knowledge.
-
Surprises are good....I say.
-
Of your options though, I'd pick the waiting. Any bow shown during building would be welcomed at anyone's doorstep. Plus I learn a ton watching them built! Maybe I'll quit my job and spend the next year getting good enough to enter next year! ;D

I was doing pretty good with the whole thing but noooo.... now you want me to choose?????
I say choosing between A & B is the torturous ???

I just checked the tracking number online, it should be there the morning of February 30th.
-
i would rather watch the progress than wait for the tube on the porch.i hate waiting on the mail lady.the waiting is the hardest part for me,but i am always waiting on something to arrive.
-
I think the hardest part would to not be a back seat driver or arm chair QB. I would perfer to see the construction pics after it is completed.
-
Thanks guys. Looks like no pics for you!
-
JW, that went right over their heads! ;)
Pearlie, either "both" or "neither"! ;)
