Title: that bow I asked about the aggravatin' tiller
Post by: Ryan_Gill_HuntPrimitive on February 28, 2012, 08:03:16 pm
Here is the finish bow. Has a little more character than the pics will pick up.  Nothing too special, just wanted to follow up with pics for ya.  its 66" long and 66# @ 28".    I wrapped sinew around 3 knot clusters on the top limb. It didn't "need" it, but I feel better knowing the sinew is there to keep any splinters down that may show up.....dont know why, just had a feeling about them..lol  the grip is olive oil rubbed deer leather, antler tips  and really shoots nice. Not the nicest looking bow Ive done but it shoots really hard with the flipped tips. I am happy enough with it....just another run of the mill, crooked osage bow i guess.lol

Very nice, Ryan. Sometimes those "agrivating" bows make the best bows.

Nice work Ryan.  Looks like you must be over wintering in Florida.  Doesn't look like Montana outside.

Very nice work, Ryan. I really like the tiller. I'm with you on the length for hunting. I like them around 60-62".  Great work
